This is Zaid. He belongs to a needy family. The father works as a mason and earns approximately 6 USD daily. The mother is a school teacher that earns approximately 3 USD per day. Although both parents work, their low incomes are insufficient to put the food on the table and keep Zaid thriving. Zaid speaks Spanish and attends preschool, at an early grade. His diet mainly includes beans, atole, fried tortillas, vegetable soup, rice, bread, milk and meat stew. Luckily, hes healthy and weighs 13 kg and hes .95 m tall. Zaid enjoys the rodeo watching the horses and bulls. He also likes the Tecuanes traditional dance performance. Sometimes, a little help can do much in the life of a kid like Zaid.
