Pius stays with his single mother and five siblings in slummy central parts of Uganda. He is a reserved boy though kind if take time with him. His general physical health is good and is so skilled in making toy cars out of metals. Pius helps the family with fetching water and washing utensils. He lives with single mother and the father is alive but abandoned the children. The mother is the bread winner of the family who earns a living from selling water from the tap. She earns less than US 30 dollars and spends US 20 dollars on feeding yet have fairly prepared meal which is not nutritious and children stand high chance of getting malnourished. The little left cannot enable her meet other family needs and this makes them struggle a lot with life. They are sometimes worried of being set out of this house and tries to save little to build their permanent house but has overwhelming needs.
