Lawyer Khanieu is an obedient boy who is living with his parents in a village that is surrounded by many trees and different fruits in the North of Sierra Leone. The family dwells in a mud brick house roofed with old zinc. He sleeps with his parents on a local stick bed and dried grass mattress. They use thick clothes for covering without mosquito net. He is attending the Pre-School in the community where he is learning how to read the English alphabets and numbers. Father of Lawyer Khanieu grows rice, potatoes and groundnuts for food at home and sell some to get money to take care of the family. His mother is a petty trader who sells raw fish in the nearby villages and on periodic market days. This situation however, makes things difficult for the family to thrive well. They manage to survive on an annual income of around US$227 which is not enough to cater for their basic needs. They share a bowl of rice twice a day. Lawyer Khanieu is good looking, simply dressed and doing fine at present. He will live a better life with his family if he is considered worthy for this sponsorship.
