Samiri lives with his parents in a small farming village in the Northern part of Uganda. He is living with a disability that has restrained him from actively getting involved in many activities in life. The type of houses in this family are grass-thatched, made of mud and wattle with compacted soils on the floor. Samiri and family have challenges in provision of meals because of the small portion of land that they own which is only half an acre and has lost its fertility to produce adequate quantity of food thus the family depends on only a single meal a day. His family practices farming on a small scale where they plant crops such as maize, millet and soya beans but the yields got are never enough to attend to all his basic needs leaving them unattended to. Samiris health is so much demanding, yet his parents cannot afford to provide. Your choice to sponsor Samiri will help him regain the lost hope in life.
