Kenia is the only child of a young couple who works hard to make ends meet. She grows up in the high and cold city of La Paz, the seat of government of Bolivia. She is a talkative, inqusitive and caring girl. She is a spirited and energetic child, always eager to explore her surroundings and learn new things. Her interests include playing with dolls, drawing colorful pictures, and singing and dancing to lively music. She lives with her parents in a rudimentary small dwelling made of brick walls, cement floor and metal roof. While they have electricity, they lack proper sanitation services. Her father works as a cook, while her mother takes care of the home. The family income is around US $ 258.00 per month, which does not cover the basics and reaching the end of the month is a constant struggle. Like many children in this country, she needs your love and support to have access to better living conditions to grow up as a healthy and productive adult.
