Phoebe comes from North Eastern Uganda where she lives with her parents and three siblings. She attends formal education. The family sleeps in two grass thatched huts made of mud walls and wattle. These huts have no provision for windows, besides are used as bedrooms as well as stores for utensils and food. Her family solely depends on subsistence farming for a living. The parents are overwhelmed by the family needs as sole providers. However, this area is very much affected by unpredictable weather conditions like prolonged dry spell and crop diseases which so much affect the crop yield. The family fetches water from a community borehole which serves a big population of 350 people. The family monthly income is less than US 10 dollars which is not enough to cater for all their needs especially education and health. Your kind sponsorship will be a blessing to Phoebe and her entire family.
