Mohamed Alie lives with his parents and siblings. They dwell in a three-bedroom mud brick house in a rural farming settlement called kanunka affia in the northern part of Sierra Leone. His parents are subsistence farmers who grow vegetables like cabbage and carrots with an annual income estimated at US$ 160.00. Mohamed Alie is attending school but lacks most of the materials needed for basic education. He loves playing foot ball with his peers and he is in good health. He sleeps with his siblings on a locally made wooden bed with a grass mattress. He enjoys reading rhymes at leisure. Mohamed Alie and his family will have the opportunity to participate in important activities in the areas of health, education, recreation and nutrition through support from sponsorship.
