Sara is a cheerful young girl who lives in a remote area in Tigwilizane community of Luangwa district approximately 391km east of Lusaka the capital city of Zambia. She lives with both parents and has one brother and three sisters. She is a needy child. Sarahs parents are small scale farmers who own a small piece of traditional where they farm their seasonal crops such as maize and groundnuts and later sell the surplus. However, farming in Luangwa has many limitations making crop yield very low as it is either too hot and with floods. The family also buys and resells fish. Despite all such efforts, the income earned is very low unable to sustain them especially with their education and health as it is less than US$350 annually. Sara is in primary school and her family ensures that despite their economic hardship, they support her to become educated. Her health is good and enjoys playing ball games. Your kind and loving support through sponsorship will create a desirable environment for Sara to thrive and have a better future.
