Mohamed lives with his father, mother and three siblings in a rural community located in the eastern part of Sierra Leone which has fertile lands where most community people are engaged in farming by growing basic seeds for their livelihood. They share a three room house of their own which is poorly built with mud and sticks with old zinc as roof top. The floor of the house is levelled with dirt. His mother takes care of the family while his father makes a living as a farmer by growing rice and beans. Their low yearly income of US$ 200 is not sufficient to raise the family out of poverty. Mohamed attends school and he is a friendly boy who enjoys coloring and drawing. We are hopeful that your sponsorship will enable this child to have adequate access to basic essentials and have a good future.
