Zamzam is a cheerful girl who comes from the Northern part of Kenya, Turkana County. She lives with her parents. They live in a grass-thatched house with sticks on communal land. The family fetches water from a community handpump whose water is saline and scarce as it is depended upon by many households because it is the main source of water in the community. Her mother is the breadwinner who depends on broom-making activity. However, the annual income derived from this broom-making is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to support the familys needs. Her mother decided to approach the office to seek assistance. Zamzam is not in school since has not attained school-going age. Zamzam loves playing with dolls. Your support will bring a lasting change to Zamzam’s life.
