Timothy and his family lives in a small grass thatched house made of mud and wattle walls in one of the remote villages located in the northern part of Uganda. He is such a social, friendly, and jolly boy whose company is enjoyed by everyone. The parents are small-scale farmers and struggle to earn a living to support the family through planting of crops like beans, maize, groundnuts, simsim, sorghum and soya beans on a rented piece of land and they cultivate traditional crops for both food and income but the harvest have always been poor because they lack information on the modern method of farming and worst of all they use old traditional tools for farming which most people have graduated from, weather changes, pests and diseases and on average their income per month is less than 20 dollars. This meager income is insufficient to meet the very basic needs like clothing, beddings, medical care and improvement of the status of housing in the family. Your kind sponsorship to Timothy shall cause a positive change to his future and the community at large as the family will be trained on how to do farming as a business.
