Smitashree fondly called Ria belongs to a very poor and needy family. Her parents are hardworking people. The father is employed as a casual worker and the mother works as a domestic laborer. Their income is too meager to support the family. Their earnings are approximately US dollar 450 per annum. Keen on giving this child the chance of a better future thru education, the desperate parents finally sought aid from this project. Smitashree is attending preschool and is learning rhymes in Odiya a regional language. She loves playing with balls and other group games. She keeps average health. She has no brothers or sisters.
