Andrew is a needy child with cute smile who lives with his parents in the far Northern region of the country. They live in a mud brick house with large family members, Andrew and parents sleep in one of the rooms without proper bedding and mosquito net, which sometimes leads to mosquito bite that leads to malaria illness. The nearby health facility is 2km away in case there is an emergency. The father, a community teacher is not in the government pay roll, he also double as a local farmer as alternative means to earn an income. The mother a petty trader selling cooking condiment in the village. The family grows crops like maize, soya beans and groundnuts which are used for food. Their produce is not enough to meet all the basic needs for Andrew and the rest of the family hence, seeking for extra support through the Childfund sponsorship program. Andrew is a friendly child who he likes playing with toys. Your support will help improve Andrew access quality education, health and his livelihood overall.
