Messie is a little girl staying with her parents and two sisters in the eastern part of Sierra Leone. She loves to play with locally made toys. She attends the community primary school. She spends most of her time with her mother. She is very active and loves to eat locally prepared food. They occupy a room in a family house that is built with mud bricks and roofed with old iron sheets. The leaking roof sometimes makes life unbearable for Messie and her family. Her parents are small scale farmers and they grow mainly rice for household consumption. They earn very little from their farm sales with an annual income estimated at US$ 220 which cannot provide all the basic needs for the family. Messie stays healthy most of the time. Your sponsorship will help her to be educated and become a great contributor to the development of her family and community.
