Mohamed live with his parents and siblings in a village located in the northern part of the Sierra Leone. He is not yet in school, as access to formal education is a challenge in the village. Children walk about 1.6 kilometers every day to go to school. The family dwells in a mud brick house roofed with old zinc. His parents are farmers, growing upland rice, cassava and groundnuts. They earn a little income from the sales of their produce harvested. His Mother also engaged in petty trading which serves a backup to assist the husband and meet their basic needs. Their combined annual income of US$778 is insufficient to provide their basic needs. They live on two meals a day. Mohamed likes to play football with his friends. He is healthy and doing fine. Your sponsorship contributions will help Mohamed to access educational facilities; live a healthy and better life.
