Rakeb is a charming girl who lives with her grandmother in a neighborhood with poor hygiene and shortage of potable water. The child is in primary school. Her father has passed away, and her mother has deserted her. She and her grandmother speak Amharic language. Her grandmother is a casual worker, and her minimal income, which is less than 400USDs per annum, is not enough to cover even their most basic needs. She plans to change their lives by being engaged in income generating activities. This can be achieved if they get some support and encouragement. The family shares a small poorly built house, and the nearby school and health center lack basic equipment and qualified professionals. Rakeb is attending in a school, and she enjoys Amharic and  playing football with her friends. In order to overcome the poverty Rakeb is facing, she needs a helping hand.
