It is with great pleasure that we introduce you the delightful Tariku. He is a very smart boy who lives with his parents and two sisters in a neighborhood with poor hygiene, poor access to potable water and highly vulnerable community for leprosy in Addis Ababa. His mother is a housewife and his father is a casual worker, and their minimal income is not enough to cover even their most basic needs. They plan to change their lives by being engaged in income generating activities and working hard. This can be achieved if they get some support and encouragement. The family shares a small poorly built rented house, and the nearby school and health center lack basic equipment and qualified professionals. Tariku is a Kindergarten student and wants to be a teacher when he grows up. In order to overcome the poverty Tariku is facing, he needs immediate support.

Ending child poverty begins with Tariku. It’s easy. It’s impactful.
