The people in the village of Toliguiya including Macire and her family are traditional farmers and animal breeders. The family dwell in a mud house deprived of inside toilet and electricity. They use an outside family latrine that they share with their neighbours. They often use fire wood to light in the house at night and to cook their food. Their irregular revenue of $400 that the father raises annually does not do much to meet their basic needs. Macire is a kind little girl who is attending the primary school in the village and well appreciated by teachers due to her discipline. At home she likes staying near her mother. She also likes to play with doll alongside with her peer group in the yard. A kind helping hand from a caring sponsor will enable this little girl to grow and be well educated.
