Sheku is a little Boy staying with his uncle in the eastern part of Sierra Leone for schooling. He loves to play with locally made toys. He is presently in primary school. He is very active and loves to eat locally prepared food. Sheku and his uncle live in a five-bed room house built with mud bricks and roofed with old zinc. It leaks mostly during the rainy season. The leaking roof sometimes makes life unbearable for the child and the family. His parents are small scale farmers and they grow mainly rice for household consumption. They earn very little from their farm with an annual income estimated at US$ 235 which cannot provide all the basic needs for Sheku and his family. Your sponsorship will aid him to be educated and become a great contributor to the development of his community.
