Umesh comes from an underprivileged family residing in an underserved area in Delhi. His father works as a casual laborer earning an income of about USD 425 per year, which is not sufficient to take care of the household, educational and medical expenses. The mother is a resourceful housewife. However, she is not able to make ends meet despite her best efforts. The area where they live has inadequate health, water and sanitation facilities. The humble parents approached this project to provide the child a better future. Umesh is in primary school. His favorite subject is Hindi, the national language. He enjoys playing ball games with his friends. Umesh is in good health. He has one brother. Your kind sponsorship is a great blessing to this needy child and family.
