Kaday is a clever girl who lives with her parents in a village located in the north of Sierra Leone. Her mother engages in petty trading, selling basic items in the village market. The father is a farmer growing rice and cassava. But still struggle to meet the family needs. Both parents earn a monthly income of US$50. Yet they cannot afford to meet the needs of the family. The family dwells in a mud brick house roofed with old zinc and dirty packed floor. This exposes them to diseases like cough and infection like scabies. Yet they cannot afford to treat themselves when ill. Kaday sleeps on a local bed mattress with poor bedding as this resulted to skin related diseases. Kaday is a nice and beautiful girl who likes to read notes at home and also playing balancing ball game. Kaday will be delighted to continue school and expose to greater opportunities in the future.
