Jaiden is a jovial boy who comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana county. He is raised by his mother who is a single parent. They live in a palm thatched mud hut in their communal land. They fetch water from a community hand pump which is clean and safe for human consumption. However, the water is not enough for domestic use since it is depended on by many households in the community. His mother is the breadwinner of the family who depends on vending activity. However, the annual income generated from this economic activity is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to support family basic needs. His mother therefore resolved to seek aid from the office. Jaiden is enrolled in a nearby school where he likes mathematics. His favorite game at home is playing football with his friends. Jaiden parents would like him to become a teacher in future and help other vulnerable people in the community. Your support will bring a lasting change to his life and the family at large.
