Barsha belongs to a poor family whose living conditions are pathetic and deplorable. Her father is working as a mason. Their income is approximately US 630 dollars per annum, which does not suffice to support the family. The mother does the household chores and catering to the family, but in spite of all her undying efforts, there seems to be no improvement in their living conditions.  Life is a mere struggle for existence.  Eager to provide this child with the chance of a better living, the desperate parents finally appealed to this project for assistance. Barsha is attending primary school and she likes to read Odia, a regional language. She is very active and playing with friends. Her health is normal.
