Manha is a humble girl who comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana county. She lives with her grandmother and one sister. They live in a palm thatched mud hut in a communal land. They fetch water from a community hand pump whose water is saline and scarce as it is depended upon by many households in the community. The grandmother is a casual worke is a breadwinner of the family. However, the annual income generated from this economic activity is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to sustain all the family basic needs. For this reason, her grandmother decided to approach the office to seek for assistance. Manha is enrolled in a nearby school where she enjoys sound recognition session and colouring. Manha s favourite game is playing hide and seek with her friends at home. She would like to be a nurse when she grows up.
