Rose is a humble jovial girl who comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana county. She is raised by his mother and father. Rose has two brothersand one sister. The family lives in a palm thatched mud house in a communal land. They fetch water from a community hand pump whose water is saline and not enough for domestic use as it is depended upon by many households as the main source of water. Her father is the breadwinner of the family who depends on herding activities. Her father also practices charcoal burning and herding as a livelihood supplementation project. However, the annual income derived from this economic activity is not enough to sustain family basic needs. Her parents therefore decided to approach the office seeking for assistance. Rose is enrolled in a nearby ECD school. Her favorite game is rope skipping. Rose would like to become a Pilot when she grows up. While at home she helps her parents in cooking and wash dishes.
