The mother is a single parent and works as a Barangay Health Worker to support her child. She is earning a meager amount of income worth of $20.00 per month. The family obtains water from either the communal faucet, which is a few meters from their house, or from a deep well located within the community. John Salvic is a well-mannered, polite, cheerful, and amiable child. He wanted to improve his dancing skill and on his free time, he used to practice his moves with his favorite dance music. John Salvic nurtures a dream of serving and protecting his community as a police officer in the future. He is trying to help his mother at home by putting his toys in place after playing and running short errands.
