Neliya is a needy but cheerful young girl who lives with her Parents and her twin sister  in one of the remote villages that form Tigwilizane Community in Luangwa district of Zambia. Her parents are small scale farmers who grow vegetables and maize for their livelihood. However, farming lately has been challenging due to drought attributed to climate change resulting in poor crop yields. This is affecting the familys income making it difficult for them to meet their basic needs. Despite the familys economic hardships, the family is committed to ensuring that Neliya attends school and their dream is to see her become educated and have a better future. The annual income is less than $400.00 which does not meet all their basic needs. Neliya is currently in preschool and her health is good.  She likes playing with dolls together with her friends and twin sister. Your support through sponsorship will help secure a better future for Neliya and her family.
