Marion lives with her parents and siblings in a remote village that lacks safe drinking water and other social amenities. The family dwelled in a mud brick house of three bed rooms, roofed with old zinc. They occupy a single room. The walls are not plastered and the floor not paved. She sleeps with her parents on a local bed stuffed with dry grass with poor beddings. Her parents depend on farming. They grow crops like cassava, potato, groundnut and rice for home consumption and sell few to raise money. They live with an annual income of US$537 which is not sufficient to meet the family needs. She is attending the community primary school in the village. The community school lack good structure, teaching and learning facilities. She likes to dance, and she is in good health. With sponsorship support, Marion and family will live a better life, and be educated.
