Mart Dylan is affectionately known to his family as Matmat. They are living in a simple semi-concrete house, in a coastal community. They have their own comfort room and water connection. His father works as a tent installer to earn $100.00 for their monthly needs. Matmat is the only child in the family, so his parents are focused on his future by ensuring that he has access to his basic rights to education despite financial struggles. Matmat is enrolled in kindergarten. He is honing his basic knowledge in alphabet letters, counting numbers and colors. Matmat is fond of anything red that even his favorite toy car is red! Matmat enjoys everything his mother prepares for him. He likes eggs, fried fish, squash, and chicken. Matmat tends to be quiet with other people, but he is happy playing with children his age. He is not yet aware of what he wants to be in the future, but his parents hope that he will have the courage to decide on his own and strive for it no matter their circumstances in life.
