Twapewa is a friendly and playful young boy, he has three sisters in his family. He lives with both parents in one of the villages in Rufunsa district about 180 kilometres east of Lusaka. They are small scale farmers who grow mostly corn for food on a small piece of land which they own. The yield is low due to poor soil fertility, unpredictable weather patterns and poor cultivation methods. They earn about US$300 annually. This is not enough to take care of the family to meet their household needs. The family’s source of water is a borehole which is about 300 meters away. Twapewa’s physical healthy is good. He is not in pre-school yet due to his young age, he likes playing with the toys. Your sponsorship will definitely help Twapewa to live a better life for the future.
