Mariama is a promising child who lives with her parent. They dwelled in a three-bed room house built with sticks and mud walls, a thatched roof and dirty floor. She is a peaceful girl living is a community surrounded with forest. They fetch water from an expose stream which is not safe for drinking and it contains impurities that endanger their health. Mariama is attending school in her community with limited support on education. Her father works in the rice field while her mother is a vegetable gardener and she grow corn, cabbage, pigeon pea and cassava tubers in a small portion of land to sustain the family. Her dream is to become a nurse to help fight infant mortality rate in the community and the country at large.
