Rupsan hails from an abjectly needy family. Her nickname is Jyoti. Her father earns very little after working hard for long tiring hours as a casual worker. His total income is approximately US 657 dollars per annum. The mother is a housewife and tries to manage what is at hand. Despite their continuous efforts, they are unable to make ends meet as there is abounding privation at home. Seeing no way out of their miserable plight, but keen on educating this child the desperate parents sought aid from this project. Rupsan is attending primary school and likes to read Odiya, the regional language.  She is very active. She is fond of playing group games with friends. Her health is good.  Rupsan has one sister.
