Rihan lives with his family in an underserved area in Delhi. His father is engaged as a casual laborer earning an income of about USD 530 per year, which is not sufficient to support the family or provide the child with basic needs of food and clothing. The mother is a resourceful housewife. However, she is not able to make ends meet despite her best efforts. The area where they live has inadequate health, water and sanitation facilities. The humble parents approached this project to provide the child a better future. Rihan is in primary school. He enjoys playing different games along with his friends. He is in good health.
