Samie is from a family of traditional farmers in the rural part of Sierra Leone. He lives with his parents one brother and one sister in a two bed room mud house deprived of electricity and potable water. There arent many options left with an annual revenue barely exceeding USD$ 200 that the parents generate. The family shares one meal a day leaving other needs unsatisfied. They belong to the Limba tribe. Samie has not started attending school as he is considered too young to cover the two miles distance to the closest school to his village. He likes engaging in group play with his mates. He sleeps on a mat with an old mosquito net. He is healthy and loves making new friends.
