Daniel is playful young boy who comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana county. He lives with his mother and father. He also has three brothers and two sisters. They live in a palm thatched mud hut smeared with mud in a communal land. They fetch water from a community seasonal bore hole whose water is not enough. His mother is the primary care giver of the family who is a housewife. The family depends on charcoal and firewood selling activity. They also practice small scale farming as an income supplementation project. However, the annual income derived from this economic activity is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to support family basic needs. His mother decided to approach the office seeking for further assistance. Daniel is enrolled in a nearby school where he enjoys numbers and counting activity. While at home, he likes playing football and hide and seek with his friends. Additionally, Daniel helps his parents in fetching water and washing utensils.
