Mariama and family lives in the west coast region of the Gambia. Her parents are subsistence farmers who depend on farming only to help put food on table. Her mother is a petty trader who sells at the village market in order to support effort of his husband who is the breadwinner. She is attending lower basic school but lack most of her educational needs due to limited resources of the family and therefore supporting her will enabling the child have access to good health, quality education and improved living condition.
