Haruna Sutta and his family are happily living in one of the rural  settlements in the West Coast  Region of the Gambia. Their house is constructed with mud blocks with a corrugated roof. Battery lamp and candle are their sources of light and they access water from the community hand pump. The parents mainly depend on seasonal farming and gardening for both food and income-generating. However, with poor rainfall and inadequate farming inputs coupled with other factors, the farm produce of the parents is low and could not meet the basic family needs for the year. Haruna is a handsome young boy. He has a sister and a brother. He is healthy and active.
