Belina lives in one of the remote villages in Tigwilizane community approximately 300km east of Lusaka the capital city of Zambia. She has two sisters and six brothers, she lives with both parents who are peasant farmers and whose livelihood depends on crop production for consumption only. They also weave reed mats which they sell to their neighbours. However, the income earned annually is not more than US$300, this proves insufficient for their sustenance. Life to them is that of hand to mouth and constant struggle, hence their request for sponsorship. despite the hardship. the family is determined to ensure that Belina is educated and have a better future. Belina is in primary school and is quite a healthy girl who enjoys playing ball games with her friends. Your kind and loving support through sponsorship will help to improve the living standard of Belina and secure her a better future.
