Sheriffo lives in a small village in the Gambia, He lives with both parents and his siblings in the same household. He attends the early childhood development center, and his favorite subject is counting. He has only one brother and he likes playing football. His parents are subsistence farmers, and they depend on rainfall for crop cultivation. The parents sell part of their farm produce to provide shelter and clothing for the family, but health, education and other expenses are hardly met.
