Kaddy has one brother and one sister and lives in the same household as her parents. She attends the early childhood development center in her village. Her father is a subsistence farmer whilst her mother is a vegetable gardener. Each of her parents cultivate crops in the outskirts of the village seasonally as they depend on rainfall for farming to provide food and shelter for the family.
