Tenneh lives with her parents, siblings including her aged grandmother in a four bedroom mud bricks adobe house with unpaved dirt floors. Their toilet facility is very poor. Her father is a seasonal local carpenter while her mother is a backyard vegetable gardener who found it very difficult to upkeep the children and their aged grandmother. Tenneh is attending in one of the primary schools in the community but lack most of the materials needed for quality education. Her love for education is admirable and always competes with her peers in whatever they learnt in school on that day. She sleeps on a straw mat on the floor beside the bed of her grandmother. She is a promising child and likes to be in the company of friends while singing and dancing traditional music on moonlight nights or modelling objects on the dusty floor.
