Helen is a happy and curious girl who lives with her parents and brother in a small rural house with dirt floors, adobe walls, and a zinc roof. Their bathroom is a simple latrine. Even though her dads job changes with the seasons and her mom stays home to look after them, Helen stays healthy with good food. She goes to school and really enjoys her Spanish class. Helen loves playing with dolls, group games, and helping with cleaning around the house. She expresses herself through dancing and making artwork.
