Peter is a smart young boy who is fun of his grandmother. He lives with his parents and siblings in a savanna grassland community north of Sierra Leone. They dwell in a three-bed room house built with mud and roofed with old zincs that leak during the rainy season which exposes them to cold. He sleeps on a local bed on poor beddings under an old mosquito net. He sometimes suffered from malaria as a result of the mosquito bites. His father a local farmer and mother a back yard Gardner who grow different crops and also engaged in petty trading. They grow their crops mainly for home consumption and sell little to take care of other family needs. Peter is a liked child who enjoy playing football with his friends.
