Hannah stays with her grandmother in a small farming village located at the foot of a small hill. Her parents are sick and they no longer challenge the manual labour in subsistence farming. The grandmother sells fruits in the local market and her meager earnings cannot support all the felt needs of the family. Hannah is a visitor in the community school. At night, she sleeps with her parents on a local wooden bed spread with a savannah grass mattress. Hannah loves to sing traditional songs with her grandmother.
