Yayah is a kind, and an ambitious boy. He lives with his parents and siblings in a mud brick adobe house roofed with old zinc with unfinished dirt floors, no toilet facility and electricity. He sleeps with his parents on a locally made wooden bed with a grass mattress on it. Their house also lack proper ventilation. They collect their drinking and cooking water from the hand pump water well which was constructed by ChildFund in Sierra Leone. They have to walk about one kilometre to access such water. The father works in the rice field and also cultivates groundnuts for home consumption while the mother is a petty trader selling local foodstuffs at the periodic market. Yayah is in good health despite the difficult living condition of his family. He is enrolled in the primary school and like drawing and painting. He is a promising boy who is in need of your sponsorship to enable him live a better life.
