Rodah- is a charming girl who comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana County. She is lives with her mother, father, sisters and one brother. They live in a palm thatched house mud hut in a communal lane. The family fetch water from a river whose water is saline and not clean for human consumption thereby pre disposing the child to water-borne diseases. Her mother is a housewife while her father is the key breadwinner of the family who depends on charcoal selling activity for economic sustenance. However, the family annual income generated from this activity is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to cater for all family basic needs. Her mother therefore decided to approach the office seeking for assistance. Rodah is enrolled in a nearby school. She likes playing hide and seek in their home ground with her friends. She would like to become a nurse when she grows up. Rodah helps her mother in collecting firewood used for cooking their meals. Your support will bring a lasting change to her life and the family at large.
