We are pleased to introduce you a child named Chala, who lives in Boset a place found in the Oromia Nationalities Regional State. Chala lives with his parents and he has no siblings. He is a little child and he is in preschool and he spends his time by playing with his age mates around home too. His father is a breadwinner and he earns meager income from farming work that is not sufficient enough to cover all family’s basic expenses. His mother is a housewife and she takes care of the family. They communicates in Afan Oromifa local language. Chala and his family lives in house made up wood and grass roof. The community where the child lives lacks access to health service, potable water and the likes that challenges the child and the community at large. The annual income of the child’s family is very low which doesn’t fulfill the family needs. They plan to change their lives by being engaged in income generating business.
