Samba is a Sierra Leonean boy who lives with both parents and siblings in a mud-brick house roof with old zinc in the far north of Sierra Leone. He is very friendly and sleeps beside his parents on a locally made wooden bed. His parents are small-scale rice farmers whose annual income is about US$ 199.00 which can hardly take them through the year. He likes to be in the company of his friends when playing local games and football. He is attending school in his community but lacks the basic materials needed to go to school. His favourite subjects are number work and drawing. Samba walks every day to and from school and the distance he covers is approximately 2km. He is healthy and very active despite their poor living condition. Your support through sponsorship would go a long way in changing the life of Samba and that of the whole family.
