Samuella lives with her parents in the northern part of Sierra Leone. She has two brothers and neither a sister. The family lives in a mud house of four bed rooms which was built by the father. Samuella sleeps in a separate room that is not paved, plaster and unseal on a local bed with grass mattress using mosquito net. The annual income of USD 155 earned from growing of cassava, groundnut, pepper and beans by the parents are very small to support a family of five. Samuella attends in one of the community secondary school, and she likes Environmental science as her best subject, kick seed and balancing ball as her best game in school and at home. She also loves plaiting her mother hair. She assists her mother in the kitchen to cook and to sweep around the compound.
