Mariama is a young beautiful fear in complex girl. She lives with her family in the rural village of Foni, the West Coast Region of the Gambia. She is attending primary school in her home village. Her favourite subjects in school are science and English. Mariama’s parents are subsistence farmers who cultivate early mature crops like watermelon, and groundnut to make their living easy during the rainy season. Lack of modern farming methods and inadequate farming equipment also leads to poor yield. Therefore she needs ChildFund support to improve her living conditions.
